Privacy policy

This policy explains what personal data Forza Team collects, why, how we protect it, and the choices you have. Because the platform holds information about minors, children's data receives heightened protection throughout.

Who this covers

Forza Team is a multi-tenant soccer club management platform. Clubs (our customers) use it to manage rosters, schedules, communication, and player development. In most cases the club is the controller of the personal data and Forza Team processes that data on the club's behalf.

What we collect

  • Account data — name, email, and a securely hashed password for people invited to a club.
  • Player profiles— a player's name, age group, team, jersey number, position, and family links. Players are typically minors.
  • Operational data — schedules, RSVPs, attendance, announcements, messages, evaluations, and uploaded documents.
  • Limited technical data — session information and security logs (for example, the IP address recorded with a sensitive action) needed to keep accounts secure.

We do not sell personal data, and we do not use children's data for advertising or profiling.

How we use it

Data is used only to provide the service to the club: authenticating users, running rosters and schedules, delivering communication, producing evaluations, and keeping accounts secure. We process it on the club's instructions and for no unrelated purpose.

Minors' data

Children's information is handled under the safeguards described on our Child Safety page: invite-only access, strict club isolation, player-safe projections that hide other families' details, no open contact exposure, and audited sensitive actions. A parent or guardian may request access to, correction of, or deletion of their child's data at any time.

How we protect it

Access is controlled by role and scope and enforced in the data layer, so cross-club access is not possible by design. Passwords are hashed, data is encrypted in transit, and authentication routes are rate-limited. Sensitive changes are written to a permanent audit log.

Sharing & processors

We share data only with the infrastructure providers needed to run the service — for example, cloud hosting and database, transactional email, and file storage — each acting as our processor under contract. We do not share personal data with advertisers or data brokers.

Retention

Personal data is kept while the club account is active. When a club leaves, or on a valid deletion request, we delete or anonymize the associated personal data within a reasonable period, except where we must retain limited records to meet a legal obligation.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, export, or restrict the processing of your personal data. For player data, these requests are usually made by a parent or guardian, or through the club administrator. Contact us and we will help route your request.
